The information I give and real and authentic. I teach about birth as many people experience it with an emphasis on tools to support you on your birth journey.

Sometime before 37 weeks!
You may get the most significant benefit from taking a class sometime between 30-34 weeks.
If you sign up later in pregnancy, be prepared that you may miss class due to baby(s) coming earlier than expected.

Many people fear the unknown aspects of childbirth. Taking a class allows your family to be prepared for what is to come. It also allows you to be a more active participant in the birth journey as you know what you can ask for along the way. Taking a group class also allows you to meet other birthing people and their families.

Please bring the following:
-An appropriately sized birth ball (yoga ball).
-Water bottle
-Something to write on and with
-Snacks and a packed lunch
-Anything that will help you feel comfortable in the space

Furthermore, fees for this class are charged by number of people attending. So if you come solo, in the way that you plan to rock it out as a parent, you only need to pay for your place.

Absolutely, this class covers all aspects of birth and the tools to help bring babies into the world.
This curriculum seeks to find a balance between available options. Everyone will leave understanding ways to have an empowered birth using an epidural as a tool.

Most insurance companies, FSA, or HSA plans will reimburse for classes up to $125. Please check with you insurance ahead of time.
If you have Better Beginnings through Blue Cross and Blue Shield of VT, be sure to opt in before 34 weeks gestation to use their education reimbursement benefit.

There is a ramp to enter the building, everything will be on one level, and an accessible, gender-neutral toilet inside.
I intend to make the space and classes accessible for everyone. If there are specific things that I could do to prioritize you or your family’s, comfort and participation in class, please reach out to me. I will happily do whatever I can to fit the space to your needs.
