Black birthers matter

Black birthing people and their little ones face higher rates of mortality and morbidity. Studies have shown that having a black doula present can reduce these harm rates substantially.

I am fiercely committed to advocating and caring for black families in my community.

I offer reduced cost childbirth eduction for black birthing people and their families.

You can use the code BIPOCFAM at checkout to get 20% off classes.

If you want to learn more about my affinity offerings please reach out and I’ll be happy to talk with you.

If you are a black birthing ally and want to help —

Fellow birth workers, deeply caring families, or kind hearts who want to help a black birthing person.

You may consider sponsoring the fees for some or all of a family's doula care costs if you can. Please reach out to me if you are interested in supporting a black family by gifting doula care to someone in your VT community.

Alternatively, please consider donating to Black Mamas Matter Alliance to support black birthers across the US.
